Formentera is our place in the world. Formentera is our CASA. Our little piece of freedom, where people smile, cicadas can be heard, and life feels lighter.
Sadly, we have to admit that more and more waste is appearing in places that should always remain untouched. Plastic hidden among rocks. Bottles left on wild beaches. Abandoned trash bags. Small illegal dumps discovered during peaceful walks.
It is sad and heartbreaking. Frightening.
It does not take much. All it takes is doing the one thing that feels natural: when we see trash — we pick it up. It does not hurt. It costs nothing.
